About Prismus

Gonçalo, Timen, and Elisabeth all studied together at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands, and share a vision of solving problems through entrepreneurship.

Elisabeth's experience in the Deep Tech manufacturing industry exposed significant inefficiencies in customer acquisition methods that ultimately burdened end users. Manufacturers struggle to connect with the right buyers, often relying on outdated, resource-intensive methods that leave sellers shooting in the dark and failing to effectively target high-potential prospects.

Costly methods such as attending conferences pose a particular bottleneck, where sellers engage with a handful of attendees out of thousands, without knowing whether those prospects are relevant. Scientists face the greatest challenges in accessing the tools and data needed to make sound and timely decisions. In discussions with Gonçalo and Timen, it became clear there was an opportunity to disrupt the Deep Tech market.

Leveraging Elisabeth's market expertise and project management skills, combined with Timen's full-stack software development proficiency, we are building a sophisticated and user-friendly web application designed to enhance product discovery for scientists and improve lead generation for sales managers.

What truly sets this platform apart is Gonçalo's expertise in artificial intelligence. By integrating AI-driven solutions - such as RAG and Agentic AI powered by LLMs - we aim to deliver highly personalized search results tailored to each user's specific context and empower their decision making with our two personalized algorithms, BANT and SPOT, tackling their specific challenges explicitly, and bringing a new level of efficiency and innovation never seen before to the industry.

With deep experience in business development and corporate finance, Peter brings a strategic perspective that complements the team's technical and product expertise. He sees the opportunity not only within the scientific instrumentation sector, but also across adjacent industries where contextual search and intelligent lead generation can unlock significant value. His broad network within the Swiss startup and enterprise ecosystem, coupled with a focus on long-term growth, helps position Prismus to scale its impact and extend its reach beyond its initial market — as a united team driving innovation together.
